Day 1

Today begins my experience at the TCPCG program.  I have been anticipating this day for a while, so I am relieved to finally begin the journey.  I am in Group 3.  My first class was Enhancing Classroom Curriculum with Computer with Bob Hale.  This class will teach me how to use technology efficiently in the classroom.  I am familiar with most of the programs we will be working with, and I like using technology, so I think this class will be interesting.  I still need to get books for all of my classes, which is important because I have reading assignments due this week.  For the first Summer Session I will be carpooling with my classmate Sarah, which is great because the commute will probably be over an hour each day.

  1. Hey Terrence! If you ever want to do a study session (until you get your books or otherwise), I'll probably be either at the UConn library or the Farmington library after class most days.

Haha, ok, so I just asked you who you are so I can try to remember your face. I'm terrible with names/faces. It's even worse for me because I remember clothing...so when people change their shirts I have to re-learn their names!

I look forward to working with you!!!

  2. That is nice that you guys can carpool, hopefully the morning commute won't be too bad! In non-traffic times my commute is 20min, but during the morning rush it takes me 45min to get here if not longer at times (I went to school for 3 years literally next door to this campus, so it's a well-known commute).

I look forward to working in this group and putting together a presentation!

  3. I am so excited to be here as well. I've been looking forward to it for a while, even with our work load. This class seems like it will be very useful, so I'm really glad for that. I'm jealous that you have someone to ride in with. I have about a half hour or so drive in and would love to carpool haha.
